RESTOR-A-FINISH is the original and flagship product in the Howard furniture care product line. The mixture contains both a small amount of stain and a bit of solvent, so you can wipe the product on, rub with the wood grain, then rub again with a clean cloth.
Restor-A-Finish is designed to help you avoid the smelly, toxic and time-consuming job of stripping and restaining antiques. It removes grime and surface buildup on antique, while also tackling problems like white heat rings, water marks, sun-fading, oxidation & smoke damage. The product is able to clean the surface of most existing damage, right through the lacquer then penetrate the wood to blend with the existing stain finish. Because Restor-A-Finish preserves the original wood finish, it also helps preserve the authenticity and value; stripping the finish may literally strip the piece of its value.
Simply refer to the color chart when ordering, and choose the finish color that most closely matches the wood on the piece you're restoring, because the Restor-A-Finish does include wood stain in the formula, and you want the closest possible match.
Stinky to use, but not as bad as furniture stripper - just use in well ventilated area and open a window.
RESTOR-A-SHINE is an excellent follow-up to Restore-A-Finish if you're left with slight scratches or a duller finish than you'd like. Works by polishing or burnishing the wood finish surface; made of a blend of polishing compound or burnishing cream combined with orange oil to crate a creamy, lotion-like cnosistence. Rub it on, buff it off and restore the shine and brilliance to the look and feel of high shine wood finishes.
FEED-N-WAX is a blend of beeswax, carnauba wax and orange oil, and is the perfect product to enhance the beauty and depth of grain on all woods, whether finished OR unfinished. Protects existing furniture finishes while adding shine. Works great on any wood furniture, whether new or antique. Also terrific for cleaning wood bathroom or kitchen cabinets - cleans existing finish while protecting against moisture damage. On unfinished oak and other deep-grain woods, Feed-N-Wax is especially effective in penetrating the wood, replenishing natural oils and highlighting the natural grains of the wood. ORANGE OIL FURNITURE POLISH is made from the organic, natural orange essence oil derived from the rind of the orange, which has excellent natural cleaning properties. CLEAN-A-FINISH Wood & Upholstery Soap is a soap-based formula that does not contain harsh chemicals such as amonia and bleach. Removes wax buildup from furniture and antiques, breaks down grease and grime on kitchen cabinets and dining tables. Safe to use on rugs, uphostery and fabrics to spot clean spills and stains.
