Designed for use as an insert in your existing small, coal-size fireplace. Can also be used to create an electric fireplace suite when combined with our surrounds and mantels. Flickering Flame effect, adjustable heater and real pieces of coal add to the realism of this great little insert. $799 - choose black or brass trim

The Rotherby can also be used behind our some of our cast surrounds for a fireplace makeover. Or use the Rotherby plus a cast surround and mantel to create a fireplace suite - see below.

create a fireplace suite.jpgBy combining the ROTHERBY electric insert with one of our cast iron surrounds and a fireplace mantel, you can create a great looking fireplace any where with a unique historic style.
 
 
Note that if you choose to use a wall mantel with a shallow side depth rebate, you'll need to make this fireplace a more permanent fixture. While the Rotherby is only 2-1/4" deep, the overall depth of a wall mantel will not hide and "contain" it. The best solution is to cut a hole in your sheetrock between the studs, recess the Rotherby into this cavity, install the cast iron surround in front of the Rotherby then finish off your installation with one of our small mantels.
