Tubeline tiles are made by drawing a pattern onto the tile, then the design is colored in by the artist. No two tiles are alike and crazing is desired for the vintage look. Tubeline tiles are a wonderful way to add a special custom look to your fireplace, and are equally practical any where, indoors or out, that ceramic tile is customarily used including kitchens, baths, pools and more.

These tiles measure 6" x 6", and are 1/4" thick. They use the same color hues and can be mixed and matched to create unique designs. They're fireproof and waterproof, and can be installed using the same basic installation methods, adhesives and grout products you'd use for any ceramic tile project.
 
Because tubeline tiles do have a raised pattern, they are not recommended for use on the floor where high foot traffic is common; for floors and other horizontal surfaces, choose matching solid color tiles.
