High Relief English Tiles - NEW!
These new high relief english tiles are 3-dimensional, dust-pressed tiles, each finish-molded by hand and individually made, painted and glazed so as to be a unique work of artistry, but sufficiently alike to be consistent in terms of color, shape and design.
Unlike our tubelined tile collection, some designs are wholly unique, as they have been made from items other than tiles (vases, plates, plaques, sculptures etc) in some cases, there are no others, anywhere on the planet. There is no definitive outline to the designs, such as the tubelining on the other designs, hence, they are in single colors.
Athena and Zeus were reproduced from an 1885 Victorian tile pairing and represent two of only three reproductions of American-made tiles (the third being Sherwood) that we offer.
