The VICTORIAN gas coal basket is a great style for later era historic fireplaces with a slightly larger opening. Includes tall fireback in a reproudction design that looks just like the antique original!

Removable ash cover reveals controls for the gas burner. Includes gas burner with manual control and ceramic coals. Remote control option is available to turn fire on/off and adjust flame height. Specify LP or Natural gas when ordering.

CHIMNEY & FIREPLACE REQUIREMENTS
This is a vented gas product. It MUST be installed into a functioning wood burning fireplace with a lined chimney. Minimum chimney liner size is 6" round. Your fireplace damper, if one exists, must be removed or permanently clamped open upon installation. This is a decorative product that is not designed to provide substantial heat. A tight fit into the fireplace is ok, so long as the fireplace depth allows the basket to sit completely inside the fireplace. Unlike gas logs, the gas coal basket needs no air space on the sides because the bottom mount gas valve stays cool during operation. BTU input is 15,000-28,000; flame height is adjustable.
