Lotus Rain Chains
 

Lilly Rain Chains 
Traditionally used in place of a gutter system, rain water falls from the roof, travels along the chain, filling the cups to gently divert rain away from the house. Enjoy the melodic sound of rain, and the awesome ice crystals that form in the winter. These also look great hanging from porch stoop, tree branches. We have one hanging from the ceiling in the store, used by a climbing vine. Rain Chains
 
 
Rain Chains are a Japanese home water gutter system, used to divert rain from the roof and away from the foundation of the home. Rainwater flows down the chain and into a metal cup, which has a hole that allows the water to flow out and down the chain to the cup below it. As the water hits the metal cups it tinkles into the cups. When winter comes, a rain chain may still reward the gardener with frosty ice cycles.
 
You may wish to collect the rainwater in a barrel for use in your garden, or simply sit on the porch and listen as the rain falls.
