Windsor Electric Insert

Small coal effect electric fire. Designed for use as an insert in your existing small, coal-size fireplace; can also be used with a mantel to create a fireplace suite. 120V, plugs into standard 3-prong household outlet. Flickering Flame effect, adjustable heater and real pieces of coal add to the realism of this great little insert. Includes hand-held remote control.

 

Specify Front Style from the 4 choices shown above: order as a cutaway front (34" tall at center, 31" wide)  or with plate (38" tall x 39" wide). The polished fronts are painted black, then highlight areas are polished to resemble a pewter finish.

Windsor Electric Fireplace Insert Conversion from Ted in PA
The chimney was not serviceable (left photo) and Ted wanted to convert it to burn a gas fire in this bedroom fireplace. However, the alterations that would be required made gas conversion impractical, so we encouraged him to consider an electric insert. Ted settled on the Windsor Electric Fireplace Insert (photo, right) and confirms this was a practical, less expensive alternative. We're cheering Ted on with his Victorian home renovation - though we know how much he must miss the orange shag carpet - and hope he'll send us another picture when the room is finished!
