The  SENATOR DIRECT VENT is a beautiful gas fire that looks just like a real coal or log fire.

Fits into small fireplaces, yet it offers generous heat output. Available in 2 styles to accent a Colonial or Arts & Crafts style home decor.

Installation:
The diagram below shows the co-linear vent kit used with this insert, which is retrofit into an existing woodburning fireplace. The system uses dual 3" aluminum chimney liners; combustion air enters through one pipe and exhausts exit through the other pipe. This type of direct vent system helps to "balance" the incoming and outgoing air for a pressurized venting system, and is particularly advantageous in an older house that tends to be drafty, or a newer "air tight" home that may not easily provide enough natural convection for optimum draft. This type of venting system provides the best answer to most drafting problems.
