Bolero Direct Vent European style direct vent fireplace insert with arched cast iron face.  Unobtrusive glass window gives an open fire look with an authentic European styling. Thermostat operation, hand-held remote included. Uses coaxial direct vent pipe, top or rear vent. May also be used as a FIREPLACE SYSTEM if you don't already have a fireplace.

-The portrait shape allows a generous window size and a gorgeous tall dancing fire.
- Uses a common direct vent "engine" module that has numerous advanced design features for the ultimate in performance, ease of use and application versatility.
- Ignition is achieved electronically using a 9V battery, eliminating the need for a standing pilot. (Complies with California and New York energy codes.)

Installation: The diagram at right shows the co-linear vent kit used with this insert; the system uses dual 3" aluminum chimney liners.
Combustion air enters through one pipe and exhausts exit through the other pipe. This type of direct vent system helps to

"balance" the incoming and outgoing air for a pressurized venting system, and is particularly advantageous in an older house that tends to be drafty, or a newer "air tight" home that may not easily provide enough natural convection for optimum draft. This type of venting system provides the best answer to most drafting problems.
