The PRESIDENT is a beautiful gas fire that looks just like a real coal or log fire. Fits into small fireplaces, yet it offers generous heat output. Built-in thermostat keeps the room comfortable by modulating the flame to maintain a consistent warmth, rather than turning the burner on & off.

The diagram at below shows the co-linear vent kit used with this insert; the system uses dual 3" aluminum chimney liners.

Combustion air enters through one pipe and exhausts exit through the other pipe. This type of direct vent system helps to "balance" the incoming and outgoing air for a pressurized venting system, and is particularly advantageous in an older house that tends to be drafty, or a newer "air tight" home that may not easily provide enough natural convection for optimum draft.
