Cast Iron Mantels offer a wonderful period style and became popular in England in the 1800's. Fully non-combustible, they offer the perfect solution for providing a mantel in situations where clearances from high-heat generating appliances are a concern. Cast iron also offers a depth of detail that's uncommon in mantels made of wood. They offer an especially period look when combined with cast iron surrounds, as pictured left.

Cast iron mantels ship by common carrier due to weight. The mantel will arrive in a box with 4 components: 2 legs, the front breast and the shelf. Minimal assembly is required.
