Decorating Tips
 
When decorating your fireplace mantel, there are general decorating guidelines to help you get the right look.
Generally you want the tallest item in the center, and the items on either side should balance in height, weight or material. It is ideal to end with an odd number of items, artfully placed on the mantel. For example, a mantel clock in the center, and 3 coordinating vases of varying heights and widths but of similar material, on either end, which totals 7 items. For a fresh spring look, add a single flower in each vase.
